Former The Smiths frontman Morrissey recently decided to share some details about his upcoming covers album California Son. The 59-year-old singer shared a message on his official website in which he revealed that the record is produced by Joe Chiccarelli and will be released by BMG.

Morrissey also revealed the tracklist for the project, which will feature his takes on classics such as Joni Mitchell’s “Don’t Interrupt the Sorrow,” Bob Dylan – “Only a Pawn in Their Game” and Roy Orbison’s “It’s Over.” The release date, however, still remains unknown.

Until California Son finds its way to the record stores, Morrissey fans have an opportunity to enjoy in the deluxe edition of his 2017’s album Low in High School.
