The American Music Awards are only a few weeks away, and we’re slowly learning what to expect from this ceremony. Selena Gomez has been announced as one of the performers shortly after making a comeback with her new singles “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now.”

Gomez is a perfect fit for this ceremony since she created a lot of buzz with her new tracks, and her fans can’t wait to hear them live. This isn’t the only reason why there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding her set – it will also be her first televised performance in two years.

This announcement comes shortly after the AMAs bosses decided to give Taylor Swift the Artist of the Decade award. She’s set to perform a medley of her greatest hits during the ceremony. The rest of the performers are yet to be announced.

The American Music Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 24th. Post Malone is leading the list of nominees with seven nods, and he’s closely followed by Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish who scored six each.
