If you stayed in the theater during the film credits for Sony’s hit Venom, then the chances are that you managed to hear Run the Jewels’ contribution to movie’s soundtrack titled “Let’s Go (The Royal We).” If not, don’t worry, because the hip-hop duo, consisting of rapper/producer El-P and rapper Killer Mike, officially presented the track on the latest Zane Lowe’s Apple Music’s Beats 1 show and released it on all major music streaming services.

During the accompanying interview, Run the Jewels also shared some interesting details about the song, revealing that “Let’s Go (The Royal We)” was one of El-P’s rejected works from Blade Runner 2049 trailer.

“I just loved it so much that I was like, ‘I have to use this,'” he told Zane Lowe. “I had spent some time working on that to kind of try and transform it into a beat for essentially Run the Jewels 4 because me and Mike both loved it, and we just thought it was nasty.”

During the interview, El-P and Killer Mike also announced that they are working on their fourth studio album, which will be a follow-up to critically acclaimed 2016’s release Run the Jewels 3.
