Rammstein have completed their new album with Muse’s producer.

The German Metal band’s seventh album will be the first in 10 years. It is currently untitled but is scheduled to be released in April, right before the band go on tour.

Speaking to Kerrang, guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe revealed the news of the album’s finish. He said: “We flew to Los Angeles to mix the record with Rich Costey, who has worked with Muse and a bunch of other big bands. It looks like we will have five music videos coming out this time, too. I feel really happy with the album, although a few things might still change, of course.”

Although he was initially unsure about going ahead with another album, Kruspe has revealed that he is very pleased with the final result.

“But now that it’s done, I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved, ” he said. “And actually, that intensity is what made our songs even better.”

Ramenstein will be on tour throughout the year.
