Queens of the Stone Age will drop their new album this month, and they’re getting ready to take it on the road. They’ll support their latest studio effort with The End is Nero Tour, which is set to take them all across North America this summer and fall.

Queens of the Stone Age members Joshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore released a joint statement announcing their tour and jokingly described it as their invitation to come and celebrate the end of the world.

“They would like to encourage the obscene and the clean, the outcasts and the weirdos, and anyone and everyone in between to attend, this is where you belong. Leave your judgment at the door, bring anything and everything else,” said the band in a statement.

The End is Nero Tour will kick off this August in Sterling Heights, Michigan. It will include 28 dates, with stops in Toronto, Nashville, Atlanta, and Chicago before it comes to its conclusion on October 8 in Sacramento, California.

Queens of the Stone Age will use this tour to promote their upcoming eighth studio album In Times New Roman… This record will hit the shelves on June 16, and they teased its release with new singles “Emotion Sickness” and “Carnavoyeur”.
