Public Enemy recently revealed details for their new studio album What You Gonna Do When the Grid Goes Down. The group’s first album for legendary Def Jam Records in more than 20 years is set to hit the shelves on September 25th and features a star-studded list of guests.

According to the tracklist published on the group’s social media, Public Enemy teamed up with surviving Beastie Boys members Mike D and Ad-Rock, Nas, Cypress Hill, RUN DMC, George Clinton, Rapsody, YG, Questlove, Ice-T, and many more.

The album will feature the remix of Public Enemy’s iconic song from 1989 “Fight the Power,” which saw contributions from Nas, Rapsody, Black Thought, Jahi, YG, and QuestLove. Check out the song and music video below.

Public Enemy started their career with Def Jam, which released their first five studio albums. Their most recent release for the label was 1998’s He Got Game, which served as a soundtrack for Spike Lee’s movie of the same name. The album was a commercial bust but ended up being well received by the music critics.

“Def Jam is like the house we grew up in. It’s cool to be home,” said Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav.
