Sziget Festival unveiled their epic line-up all the way in November, but it seems they’ve got much, much more in store. Second wave of headliners has just been announced and it features the likes of Post Malone and Franz Ferdinand.
The first edition of Sziget Festival took place in Budapest, Hungary all the way back in 1993. This event has since transformed into one of the most prominent European festivals. Its growing popularity provided the organizers with an opportunity to book dozens of acclaimed performers, and they did it once again this year.
Ed Sheeran, Florence + The Machine, Foo Fighters and Twenty One Pilots have been announced as headliners a few months ago, but they won’t be the only ones. Second wave of performers includes several equally impressive names, starting with Post Malone, Franz Ferdinand and Years & Years.
The list doesn’t end there and it also includes Tove Lo, James Blake, IAMDDB and Razorlight. Sziget Festival 2019 will take place from August 7-13 on the idyllic island Óbudai-sziget, located north of Budapest.
