Although the first edition of Pharrell Williams’ Something in the Water festival had some growing pains, the American rapper/producer hasn’t given up on the event. It was recently confirmed that the festival will return next year, being scheduled to take place from April 20 to April 26, 2020.

Something in the Water 2020 returns to Williams’ hometown of Virginia Beach, and will more than double in duration compared to the three-day event this year.

From Monday through Thursday, the festival will host the “brightest minds from the culinary world, technology, environmental sustainability, health & wellness, media, and more.”

The music performances are scheduled to take place from Friday through Thursday. The lineup is yet to be revealed, but it is expected that the first headliners will be announced soon.

The 2019’s edition of Something in the Water festival featured an exciting lineup that consisted of Diplo, Pharrell & Friends, Dave Matthews Band, Migos, Janelle Monáe, Masego, SZA, Rosalía, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Jhené Aiko, Missy Elliott, Pusha-T, Travis Scott, and many more. The event, however, didn’t get off to a great start, as Day 1 of the festival ended up being canceled due to “inclement weather.”
