Peso Pluma made quite a splash with his new album Génesis and Hot Latin Songs Chart reflects his enormous success. He simultaneously entered this chart with 25 different songs this week, breaking a record previously held by Bad Bunny.

The Mexican rapper dropped his third studio album on June 22 and shared a deluxe edition with additional 17 songs about a week later. Génesis became an instant hit, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, in addition to topping the Regional Mexican Albums chart and Top Latin Albums chart.

As if that wasn’t enough, the 24-year-old rapper also made a huge impact on the Hot Latin Songs chart. Due to Génesis’ strong streaming performance, 10 tracks from this album debuted on this chart, bringing Peso Pluma’s total to 25 songs. With this achievement, he managed to break the record for the most simultaneous tracks on the tally previously held by Bad Bunny with 24 tracks.

This isn’t the first record that Génesis set since its release. It also became the highest-charting regional Mexican album in the history of the Billboard 200, in addition to scoring the largest streaming week ever for a regional Mexican album with 101.8 million streams.
