Peggy Gou took the world by storm with her breakout hit “(It Goes Like) Nanana”, and it was just a matter of time before she shared an album with the world. That moment is finally coming our way in June after she officially announced the release of her debut album I Hear You.

Gou has several EPs under her belt, but her debut album was a long time coming. I Hear You will be released on June 7 via XL Recordings, and it will include 10 tracks, including her global megahit “(It Goes Like) Nanana” and the Lenny Kravitz collaboration “I Believe In Love Again”.

In an official statement announcing its release, Gou said that I Hear You is more than just her debut album, adding it’s “a testament to the power of listening, to ourselves and to each other” that “embodies countless hours of dedication in [her] journey to create something timeless.”

In addition to announcing her debut album, Guo also dropped its latest single “1+1=11”. Her longtime friend, Olafur Eliasson, directed the music video for this song, which celebrates the power of dance to bring people together. Eliasson described the experience of working with Gou as rewarding and fun, adding this video allowed them to explore their shared interests in psychosonics, rhythm, and movement.
