Ozzy Osbourne and Post Malone may seem like an unlikely duo, but they managed to get the best out of each other. The Black Sabbath singer recently revealed that he finished recording his new album, and his collaboration with the young rapper had a lot to do with it.

Osbourne discussed his upcoming LP in a recent interview with The Sun, and described it as the greatest album he’s ever done. He also admitted that this record helped him get back on track after suffering a serious injury earlier this year.

The famous singer thanked his fans and fellow artists Elton John, Tony Iommi, Slash, and Jonathan Davis for lifting his spirits during difficult times. He also gave a special shout-out to his new friend Post Malone, who helped him get his creative juices flowing after inviting him to collaborate on one of the songs from his latest album.

“I’d never even heard of this kid. He wanted me to sing on his song ‘Take What You Want’ so I did and then one thing led to another. I started recording a new album with Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt. It’s only nine tracks but it was a catalyst to get me to where I am today,” Osbourne explained.
