2019 has really been an amazing year for the Cyrus family! After Billy Ray and Miley both gave us epic new singles, the 19-year-old Noah Cyrus decided to follow in their footsteps with her latest country-infused single “July”.

The video for this emotional song is pretty straight-forward and it sees the young artist walking down the old town road (no pun intended) surrounded by a bunch of old suitcases, that she’s trying to leave behind as she moves on with her life.

Noah Cyrus explained that this James Pereira-directed video symbolizes her “attempt of letting go and walking away from the baggage” because there’s something beautiful waiting on the other side, even when it’s hard and it hurts to walk away.

It’s unclear if this song, about the seemingly never-ending cycle of a toxic relationship, serves as her way to promote her upcoming album. She’s been teasing her debut LP NC-17 for a while now, but there’s still a lot of uncertainty surrounding its release.
