Nine Inch Nails are plotting their next album, and it will be unlike anything they’ve done before. Trent Reznor recently revealed they’re thinking of working on some new music with other artists, but it’s unclear if these collaborations are going to see the light of day.

The Nine Inch Nails frontman discussed the band’s future plans with Revolver. He revealed they composed a list of artists they like, and they are open to working with different people and sharing the final results with the world if they turn out good.

“We thought, kind of playing on the newfound spirit of collaboration that scoring has forced us into, seeing what happens when we mix our DNA with some other people, with a no-pressure environment… If something good happens, then maybe the world can hear it,” Reznor told Revolver.

Nine Inch Nails dropped their last album Bad Witch in 2018, but band members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have been pretty busy in the meantime. They composed the soundtracks for HBO series Watchmen, and movies Bird Box and Waves.
