Nicki Minaj’s fans spent five years waiting for her new studio album, and they’ll have to wait a little bit longer. The singer shared an update about her upcoming record Pink Friday 2 on social media and revealed its release date was pushed to November.

Nicki Minaj’s next studio album was supposed to hit the shelves on October 20, but she recently announced a minor date shift. The rapper revealed her next LP will now arrive about a month later, on November 17, and thanked her fans for their patience.

“I love you guys so much. I am so grateful for the years of support & love you guys have given me. At times maybe I didn’t even deserve all that you have poured into me. Nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album. I will give tour deets closer to that time,” she wrote on social media, adding she’ll most likely start touring in the first quarter of 2024.

This record will serve as the sequel to her hit debut studio album Pink Friday, and it’s her first LP since the release of Queen in 2018. Minaj has been pretty busy collaborating with other artists in the meantime, and we’ve seen her join forces with the likes of Ice Spice, Kim Petras, and Lil Uzi Vert in the last few months alone.
