Nicki Minaj gave us more epic collaborations than we can count over the years, and another one just came our way. The rapper joined forces with Latin superstar Karol G in a lavish music video for their new song “Tusa.”
Their first collaboration is all about partying the pain away, and the title of the single comes from a Colombian slang term that describes the heartache a person goes through after calling it quits with their lover.
The collaboration between Minaj and Karol G was a long time coming, but they managed to keep it a secret. The two started texting each other on Instagram and swapped a few demos before this one got Minaj’s seal of approval.
“[The collaboration] came into my life unexpectedly and I wanted to keep it like that for my fans. The collaboration and the song mean more to me than I can put into words. I hope everyone enjoys ‘Tusa’ as much as Nicki and I did creating it!” said Karol G in a statement.
