Nicki Minaj is On Track to Break a New Record For Female Rappers

Nicki Minaj is about to set a new record for female rappers worldwide.

Last summer, Minaj released her fourth studio album, Queen. The album might have failed to reach top spot in the US at the time, but now it’s on its way to becoming the first female rap album to sell 100 million units.

Chart Data revealed on Twitter that Minaj “now has 99 million RIAA certified units across albums, singles and features. She’s expected to be the first female rapper to hit 100 million units.”
