2019 has been an amazing year for Nick Jonas and it’s just getting better and better as the months go by. The young singer who made an epic comeback with his band Jonas Brothers a few months ago just scored a coaching spot on the next season of The Voice.

Meredith Ahr, president of alternative and reality group for NBC Entertainment, announced Jonas’s appointment and explained why they feel he’s the perfect person for the job.

“As a member of one of the hottest pop groups, Nick’s success in navigating all aspects of the music industry is exceptional. We were so impressed by his innate musicality, technical aptitude and passion that he brought to Songland earlier this year and know he will be an incredible fit as a coach on The Voice,” said Ahr in a statement.

Nick Jonas discussed the amazing news during a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and seemed really grateful for this amazing opportunity. He described his fellow coaches as an “awesome group of individuals” and said he’s looking forward to helping young artists find their unique voices.
