After getting back to playing live shows last year, Neil Young and Crazy Horse are now back in the studio as well. The legendary Canadian musician recently gave an update about his future plans with the band and revealed that they are about to start recording their new album. This will be their first record in seven years and serves as a follow up to  2012’s Psychedelic Pill.

“Crazy Horse is about to enter the studio with 11 new ones,” – Young wrote in a reply to one of the fans on his official website.

“We sincerely hope [fans] enjoy our new music when it is released this year because we know we will enjoy making it.” – he added.

After laying low for four years, Neil Young and Crazy Horse reunited in May 2018 for a pair of shows at Warnors Theatre in Fresno, California. They continued playing occasional live shows since then including two shows this year back in February in Winnipeg, Canada.

Young is set to have a busy 2019 since he will also embark on a summer tour which will see him playing shows in North America, UK and Europe. Some of them will be solo shows while others will feature his regular backing band Promise of the Real.
