It’s been a full year since the release of One Thing at a Time, but Morgan Wallen is still pushing boundaries with this record. His last album returned atop the Billboard 200 chart for the 19th non-consecutive week, becoming the longest-running country album at No. 1.

The tracking week ending on March 7 was pretty slow for new album releases, and Wallen used this to his advantage. One Thing at a Time returned to No. 1 with 68,000 equivalent album units, including 65,000 SEA units (equaling 89.63 million on-demand official streams), plus 2,000 in album sales and 1,000 TEA units.

By doing so, Wallen’s hit album returned to No. 1 for its 19th non-consecutive week, setting a major record along the way. It’s the longest-running country album atop the Billboard 200 chart, surpassing Garth Brooks’ Ropin the Wind, which spent 18 weeks at No. 1 in 1991/2.

Seeing One Thing at a Time top the Billboard 200 chart again is pretty impressive considering it’s been over a year since this album came out on March 3, 2023. Its hit single “Last Night” also did pretty great on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and spent 16 weeks on top.

As for the rest of the Billboard 200 chart, Noah Kahan’s Stick Season hit a new peak at No. 2, while the rest of the top ten consisted of former chart-topping albums, starting with Vultures 1 by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, SZA’s SOS, and Drake’s For All the Dogs.
