Miley Cyrus’ latest album Endless Summer Vacation is a gift that keeps on giving, and she just surprised her fans with another music video. The hazy visual for “Jaded” is here and it sees the singer looking back at the past and letting go.

Cyrus embraced a pretty minimalistic approach with this music video, just like with “Flowers”, and she’s its one and only star. The music video was directed by Jack Boxenman, and it shows the singer enjoying some alone time in her bed, by the pool, and in front of some palm trees while reflecting on the fallout of a failed relationship.

Cyrus never publicly spoke about the song’s lyrics, but the lines, “Isn’t it a shame that it ended like that? Said goodbye forever, but you never unpacked / We went to hell, but we never came back,” make it pretty clear she’s most likely referring to her divorce with Liam Hemsworth, one of the central themes of her new album.

Endless Summer Vacation hit the shelves on March 10, and it also produced singles “Flowers” and “River”. “Flowers” made quite a splash following its release in January and spent weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, in addition to becoming the fastest song to reach one billion Spotify streams.
