Meek Mill is back and ready to conquer the charts! His new album, Championships, claimed the top spot at Billboard 200 albums chart, becoming his second no. 1 studio recording in the US.

The rapper’s fourth album dropped on November 30, and it was met with universal acclaim. Some of the songs on Championships outline his experiences and issues with the social justice system, and several fellow rappers helped him get his message across.

Mill’s new album features collaborations with Cardi B, 21 Savage, and Drake, which came as a pleasant surprise since the two stars weren’t on the best of terms in the past. The Canadian rapper worked on a song Going Bad, which was described as the high point of this album.

When it comes to Billboard Hot 100, Ariana Grande returned to the top with her empowering break-up anthem Thank U, Next. This song had the best streaming week for a female artist thanks to a rom-com inspired music video she dropped on November 30.
