Marilyn Manson promised a new album before the end of the year, and it seems he will deliver. The American rocker announced that his 11th studio release, titled We Are Chaos, is dropping on September 11th.

Alongside the announcement, Manson also shared the title track, which serves as the first single for the record. “We Are Chaos” is also accompanied by a music video made by Matt Mahurin. Check it out below.

“When I listen to ‘We Are Chaos’ now, it seems like just yesterday or as if the world repeated itself, as it always does, making the title track and the stories seem as if we wrote them today,” said Manson. “This was recorded to its completion without anyone hearing it until it was finished. There is most definitely a side A and side B in the traditional sense. But just like an LP, it is a flat circle, and it’s up to the listener to put the last piece of the puzzle into the picture of songs.”

Manson’s most recent releases were pair of covers back in 2019. He first released a cover of the traditional folk song “God’s Gonna Cut You Down,” which was recorded during the sessions for 2017’s Heaven Upside Down, before also sharing his version of Doors’ “The End.”
