Famous rapper Macklemore always saw himself as the grown-up version of Home Alone‘s Kevin McCallister, so he decided to pay homage to this holiday classic by finally dropping his own Christmas tune.

“It’s Christmas Time” features an appearance from British soul singer Dan Caple, and its festive video is all about reliving the Christmas magic and enjoying all the things that filled our hearts with joy during the holiday season when we were kids.

“It has the Holiday spirit in every frame. The true purpose and meaning of Christmas. To give, to celebrate and to take back that sweater and end up with store credit at Macy’s. We must not forget the magic and that in the end its all about giving. You’re welcome,” the rapper said on YouTube.

“It’s Christmas Time” follows Macklemore’s previously released songs “I Don’t Belong in This Club”, “Shadow”, and  “Summer Days”, which saw him joining forces with Patrick Stump and Martin Garrix. It’s possible they’ll be featured on his third studio album, but the rapper is yet to announce he’s working on a new record.
