Most artists tend to embark on a tour once their new album is out, but Little Big Town is doing things a little bit differently. The band is going to present its new record to the audience during the upcoming theater tour, which will perfectly capture its grandiose spirit.

Singer Karen Fairchild explained their decision to reveal their new album in this space while discussing it with The Associated Press and said she’s certain their new songs will sound even better in the theater.

“The record feels kind of cinematic to me, but there’s also a lot of beautiful intimate moments. In a theater, this record is really going to shine,” Fairchild said.

Little Big Town will release their new album Nightfall on January 17th, and the tour in support of this record will kick off at the legendary Carnegie Hall a day before its release. Caitlyn Smith will join them as the opening act.

The tour should run through May 2nd and see the band visit many amazing venues around the US.
