Fresh from the studio, indie rockers Bombay Bicycle Club shared a new single, “Fantasneez”. The upbeat track, featuring a guest appearance from folk musician Matilda Mann, is part of the upcoming extended play Fantasies.

Fantasies is set to be released on February 23. It will consist of four songs, with each being a collaboration with “a good friend of the band”.

Announcing the single, Bombay Bicycle Club shared that “Fantasneeze” was recorded during the sessions for their 2023 studio album My Big Day. The song didn’t make the cut, but the band decided to record three more songs: “Blindfold” (feat. Liz Lawrence), “Willow” (feat. Lucy Rose), and “Better Now” (feat. Rae Morris), and package them into an EP.

“It’s also very much a continuation of ‘My Big Day’ as it was recorded around the same time and mixed by Dave Fridmann,” said Bombay Bicycle Club in a press release.

Fantasies will make its way on digital platforms while also getting a limited-edition vinyl release. The vinyl version of the EP is limited to 2,500 copies, and fans will be able to pick up one on the band’s live shows, through their website, or through a small number of record stores.
