Lana Del Rey was one of the most exciting artists performing at this year’s Glastonbury festival, and her set made the headlines for all the wrong reasons. She couldn’t finish her performance due to the festival’s strict curfew policy, and she reflected on this debacle six months down the road.

Del Rey hit the iconic Other Stage at this year’s Glastonbury, but her set was abruptly cut short because she hit the stage 30 minutes late. She was performing the song “White Mustang” when the organizers decided to cut off her microphone, and the crowd then joined her for the acapella singalong of her smash hit “Video Games”.

Del Rey addressed her controversial Glastonbury set during a recent interview with The Sunday Times and admitted it still haunts her six months down the road.

“I’ve heard of curfews before, but I didn’t know they actually turned the lights off! I didn’t feel great about it, but I was a little confused because I don’t think I was ever in a position where somebody said, ‘If you do not finish by this time, everything will go out,’” said Del Rey.

The singer will have a chance to redeem herself to the UK audience at the next edition of the Reading and Leeds Festival, which she’ll headline next year.
