Three years after Naya Rivera’s passing, the Glee cast members are still coming up with new ways to show the world she still lives on in their hearts. Several of her former co-stars joined forces to finish up Rivera’s unreleased song “Prayer for the Broken”.

Originally recorded by Rivera in 2012, her unfinished song “Prayer for the Broken” is finally available for the whole world to hear thanks to her co-stars Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Vanessa Lengies, and Ashley Fink.

They joined forces with Rivera’s favorite LA-based non-profit Alexandria House to finish this song, as a part of the organization’s annual Snixxmas Charity Fundraiser.

“We hope that ‘Prayer for the Broken’ brings you the same comfort it has brought us over the years — a poignant reminder of Naya’s otherworldly talent and a heartfelt gift, allowing us to hear her once more through this inspiring message,” reads Alexandria House’s press release.

Naya Rivera tragically passed away in 2020, after disappearing in Lake Piru in California while swimming with her young son, where she eventually drowned. She’s best known for playing Santana Lopez on Glee. She received two Grammy nominations during her time on the show and went on to release her debut single “Sorry” ft. Big Sean in 2013 and EP My Heart in 2019.
