Hard-core fans of Lady Gaga were head over heels after she announced her two-year residency in Las Vegas, and it was definitely worth the wait. Mother Monster broke new ground with her first Enigma performance – the most spectacular one she ever delivered.

Gaga kicked off her debut show on December 28 with her smash hit “Just Dance”, and things got only better from that point on. Her futuristic 90-minute set was everything you’d expect from this singer, and the crowd of 5,200 enjoyed watching her dance her heart out in outrageous outfits, float through the air and transform into a giant robot. Katy Perry, Dave Grohl, and Adam Lambert were some of the fellow musicians who attended her amazing show and shared their astonishment online.

The Enigma launch might’ve been over-the-top, but certain parts of her residency will be a bit more graceful. She will perform stripped-down versions of her hit songs in the separate Jazz & Piano section.
