Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain on Me” is the futuristic girl-power song we didn’t know we needed.

The duo dropped the single last Thursday and Gaga and Grande teased on Twitter that a video would be coming soon, “#RainOnMe u better wake up and get some coffee for that hangover cuz the video is out,” Gaga tweeted.

The video is a trip to a land far far away, where Gaga and Grande are seen dancing with their crews while the skies open up with rain and knives. Gaga’s wearing a hot pink and black bodysuit and Grande’s wearing a cutesy butterfly-adorned outfit with her signature high ponytail. At first the two are separated in what appears to be different worlds characterized by color and then the singers join forces for the chorus singing, “I’d rather be dry but at least I’m alive.”

When the two join forces they also change outfits with Grande in a two-piece set with her hair down and Gaga in a pink one-piece with her hair half-up, half-down. In once scene, the singers hold hands with their hair flowing in the wind behind them, looking like superheroes. The two dance in the rain, becoming more powerful as one unit and the video ends with the ladies hugging.

“Rain on Me” is Gaga’s second single from her forthcoming sixth album Chromatica which will drop on May 29.
