Labrinth and Billie Eilish’s collaboration “Never Felt So Alone” made its debut on streaming services this week. The duo recorded the song for HBO Max’s hit series Euphoria several years ago but didn’t give it an official release until now.

The track, which received an accompanying music video directed by Daniel Sannwald, is expected to be part of Labrinth’s long-awaited studio album Ends & Begins

“Never Felt So Alone” first made a brief appearance in Euphoria’s first season before receiving more playing time when season two episodes debuted in early 2022. However, the song was surpassingly absent from the show’s official soundtrack releases. Now it’s clear that Labrinth, who curates Euphoria soundtracks, was saving the tune for his own studio release.

However, Labrinth and Billie Eilish did deliver a live performance of the track back in December. Labrinth joined Eilish on stage during a Kia Forum show in LA, and the duo performed “Never Felt So Alone” and “Mount Everest.”

Labrinth explained how he and Eilish got to do the song in a chat with Eddie Francis on Apple Music 1.

“She was like, “I love this song as well, so I would love to do it with you.” That was big for me because I felt like we both get each other musically. It didn’t feel foreign to me, and I love what she’s done on the record,” Labrinth shared.
