Many of our favorite artists are trying to be as inventive as possible with their new music, but Kings of Leon is taking things to a whole new level. Their latest album When You See Yourself will be released in cryptocurrency format.

Kings of Leon is one of the first bands set to release their album in the form of NFT aka non-fungible tokens. The album package with vinyl and digital download is priced at $50, but the band is also offering six golden ticket experiences. Anyone who wins will get four front-row seats to the show of their choice during future Kings of Leon tours.

To bring this project to life, they joined forces with a ticketing and music NFT platform YellowHeart, created with the goal to empower artists to sell music and tickets directly to their fans.

“For this collection, the power of the band’s music and their new album visuals are harnessed to deconstruct, degenerate, and distort iconic band symbols and photography and the result is a striking re-imagination of the band’s body of work,” reads YellowHeart’s official statement.

When You See Yourself was released on March 5th, and it was preceded by singles “The Bandit” and “100,000 People”.
