After a few false drop dates, delays, and listening events, Kanye Wests’ long-awaited Donda was finally released on Sunday and just a few days after its release, it’s breaking records on Apple Music.

The 27-track album features JAY-Z, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Pusha T, and more.

Just 24 hours after its release, the album reached the top spot on the Apple Music charts in 152 countries and 19 songs from the top 20 on Apple Music’s Daily Top 100 Global songs chart coming from Donda.

And those aren’t the only records West broke—West and Donda became the most-streamed artist and album in a single day in 2021. This broke Olivia Rodrigo’s record.

Following the album’s release, West claimed Universal released Donda without his permission on social media. “Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked Jail 2 from being on the album,” he wrote on Instagram. “Jail 2” was the collaborative track that features DaBaby and Marilyn Manson.
