Justin Timberlake really kept us waiting for his sixth solo studio album, and he finally confirmed its long-awaited release. The pop superstar confirmed he has new music on the way by dropping the album trailer for Justin Timberlake Presents: Everything I Thought It Was.

Timberlake spent the past few weeks dropping hints about new music, and fans lost it when he announced a free concert in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. The fans who were lucky enough to get the tickets had the pleasure of hearing his upcoming single “Selfish” for the first time – and there’s more where that came from!

Shortly after this free concert, Timberlake took to social media to share the trailer for Justin Timberlake Presents: Everything I Thought It Was. Hilariously narrated by the Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro, the atmospheric trailer doesn’t reveal too much about Timberlake’s next album, but it certainly got the fans excited.

Everything I Thought It Was will mark the follow-up to Timberlake’s hit album Man of the Woods, which hit the shelves in 2018 and produced top ten singles “Filthy” and “Say Something”. He’s taking the promo for his next LP pretty seriously, and he’s expected to perform two new songs on Saturday Night Live on January 27.
