Justin Bieber’s album Justice is a gift that keeps on giving, and just when we thought we’ve seen the last of it, he surprised us with another music video. The emotional visual for “Ghost” stars the Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton, in the role of the singer’s widowed grandmother.

The Colin Tilley-directed video charts the events taking place after Bieber’s grandfather’s passing. He tries to help his grandma rediscover joy following this immense loss, and they’re shown taking long walks on the beach and going dancing and drinking together. The video ends with Keaton finding love again after Bieber opens a dating profile for her.

The Canadian hitmaker handpicked Annie Hall star to play his grandma, and she immediately said yes because she thought the song was wonderful. Keaton told Vogue that filming the video was “sheer fun” because she didn’t have to act too much and the filming process was loose and relaxed.

“Ghost” serves as the sixth single from Bieber’s latest album Justice, which came out on March 19th. It easily debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart following its release and produced hit singles “Holy” ft. Chance the Rapper, “Lonely” ft. Benny Blanco, “Anyone”, “Hold On”, and “Peaches” ft. Daniel Caesar and Giveon.
