Jennifer Lopez was planning to embark on a summer tour in just a few weeks and spend the next three months on the road, but her plans have changed. She decided to cancel This Is Me… Live Tour, saying she’s “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.”

J.Lo released a statement announcing the cancelation of her summer tour, which was expected to feature 30 shows across North America in June, July, and August.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…” she said in a statement.

Refunds are available through Ticketmaster and other third-party platforms, and Live Nation claims that the singer put the tour on hold to spend more time with her family.

This Is Me… Live tour was initially supposed to support J.Lo’s latest album This Is Me… Now, before being re-branded to the greatest hits tour. Several outlets reported that the change was made due to low ticket sales, while the singer’s representatives claimed it was “always intended to be a celebration of Lopez’s career.”
