JAY-Z is set to add another award to his long list of accomplishments. The 47-year-old rapper will be recognized with Grammy Salute to Industry Icons Award at the 2018 Pre-Grammy Gala which will be held on January 27 at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel.

This award will add up to the 21 Grammy Awards JAY-Z already won for his music. He is also one of the best-selling musicians of all time, reaching more than 100 million albums sold during his career. The rapper is also known for his accomplishments besides music, establishing himself as a successful businessman. JAY-Z co-founded the Roc-A-Fella Records and also founded companies Roc Nation and Roc Nation Sports. Finally, he owns the music streaming service Tidal, which has over three million subscribers.

JAY-Z recently released his thirteenth studio album titled 4:44, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, making it his 13th consecutive album to top the charts. The album received widespread acclaim from the critics and audience, being listed as one of the best albums of 2017 on numerous lists and nominated for multiple Grammy Awards. 4:44 features guest appearances from Frank Ocean, Damian Marley, and Beyoncé.
