Ian Brown Drops Title Track From New Album “Ripples”

Ian Brown has just dropped a new track from his upcoming solo album. It’s called ‘Ripples’ and it’s all kinds of groovy.

The track kicks off with some incredibly funky bass and a wicked drumbeat. Ian Brown sings: “It’s not for glory or for riches” and then funky, scratchy guitar licks kick in between his vocals.

The track undoubtedly has a Stone Roses feel but is distinctively ‘Ian Brown’. The crisp guitar solo is miles apart from anything Jon Squire ever produced and the track’s embellishments are a different kind of quirky.
