The BET Hip Hop Awards honored some of the best hip hop artists, songs, and albums of the past year, and the extensive list of major winners at this ceremony includes everyone from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion to Travis Scott and J. Cole.

Cardi B topped the list of nominations with a total of 10 nods but eventually walked away with only two awards – best hip-hop video and best hip-hop style. J. Cole was the only artist who snagged three trophies – lyricist of the year, best-featured verse, and best impact track.

The BET Hip Hop Awards took place on October 9th at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Center and the list of artists who managed to walk away with two awards also included Travis Scott, Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus, and newcomer Megan Thee Stallion.
