It’s been a while since Limp Bizkit delivered new music, but that will change soon. The band is currently in the studio, recording a new album, and guitarist Wes Borland recently decided to give the fans a slight taste of the release.

Borland first posted two video clips on Instagram that previewed one of the Limp Bizkit’s new songs and followed that up with a photo of himself in the studio, writing:  “Today was a very long and great day. We’re on track. @limpbizkit.” The 43-year-old musician posted another snippet of the song later. You can check these posts below.

After releasing their fifth studio album Gold Cobra in 2011, Limp Bizkit started working on its follow-up a year later. The band revealed that the record will be titled Stampede of the Disco Elephants and presented the first single in October 2012. Since then the album was delayed several times although three more singles were presented in the meantime. The last piece of information about the release was offered by Wes Borland in late 2017 when he revealed that there he already prepared “28 or 29 songs” but that vocalist Fred Durst is still to provide vocals for them.

Although it seems like we will have to wait for Stampede of the Disco Elephants a bit longer, it is still encouraging to see that the band is actively working on it.
