French DJ and producer Gesaffelstein is finally back with a new remix after taking a break from similar projects in past years. He recently decided to collaborate with Spanish singer Rosalía, and offer his own take on her single “A Palé.”
Gesaffelstein left his recognizable stamp on the song, adding gritty techno beats and excluding the predominant trap feel of the original. His version also extended the song by 30 minutes. Hear it below.
Rosalía released “A Palé” back in November, with the track serving as a single for her upcoming new studio album. The song peaked at No.16 on Spanish Charts, while reaching 42 on Billboard’s US Hot Latin Songs charts.
Gesaffelstein was quite busy in 2019, releasing his second studio album Hyperion in March and following that up with a surprise EP Novo Sonic System in October. Both releases met with mixed reception from the critics, but Hyperion was praised for having “cohesion and experimental tracklist.”
