Hayley Kiyoko’s fans were really looking forward to seeing her live this winter, but it seems like they’ll have to wait a little bit longer. Her upcoming North American tour has been canceled, but the singer assured her fans she’s working on something bigger and greater.

Kiyoko announced her decision to cancel the tour in a lengthy Instagram post and described it as one of the hardest decisions she’s ever made since she never canceled any of her shows before.

“The timing for the tour didn’t go the way we had hoped and due to a lot of factors not aligning for the year ahead, I am forced to make the extremely difficult decision to cancel my upcoming North American tour,” the singer posted on Instagram but also reassured her fans that she’ll use this time to finish her new album and give them her absolute best.

Hayley Kiyoko was supposed to hit the road on January 29th and perform a total of 26 concerts across North America. Her decision to cancel the tour comes a few days after she dropped new EP I’m Too Sensitive for This Sh–, which was preceded by her latest single “She”.
