Harry Styles is currently one of the world’s biggest music stars. But this doesn’t mean that the Grammy Award-winning singer wouldn’t be open to performing with One Direction again.

Styles recently made an appearance on the final episode of James Corden’s Late Late Show and took part in the “Spill Your Guts or Eat Your Guts” segment. The segment requires participants to either answer the question truthfully or eat unappetizing food. Expectedly, Styles was handed a question that everyone wanted to know the answer to: “Yes or no, will there be a One Direction reunion? Will it ever happen?”

To his credit, Styles opted to “spill his guts” and answer in a way that provides a glimpse of hope to One Direction fans.

“I fear that it’s not a yes or no question,” said Styles. “I think I would never say never to that. If there was a time when we wanted to do it, I don’t see why we wouldn’t.”

One Direction was formed in 2010 during the reality singing competition The X Factor, consisting of Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik. During their time together, they released five studio albums and sold 70 million records worldwide. The group went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016 to allow individual members to explore other projects.
