After serving as Slipknot’s drummer for 18 years, Joey Jordison left the band in 2013 under strange circumstances, and we never got to find out the full story behind this. That could soon change since Jordison recently revealed that he is working on an autobiography and we are convinced that a good portion of this book will revolve around his exit from Slipknot.

Unfortunately for all of us who are eager to check Jordison’s autobiography, the book is still not ready to be published.

“I’ve had a couple of offers from book companies and stuff like that, and I’ve been so busy, of course, with new music projects and recording and touring that I haven’t really gotten down to it,” Jordison told the Impact Metal Channel.

The 43-year-old drummer added that aims to finish it after wrapping up the current tour with his extreme metal band Sinsaenum.

“But as far as the book is concerned, I already started it, to be completely honest, and it will just take some time to make sure it’s absolutely detailed,” he added. “Because I can’t complete it without completing the Sinsaenum tour, because it wouldn’t make any sense.”
This means that Joey Jordison’s autobiography won’t be released at least until late 2019, but it will certainly be worth the wait.

After leaving Slipknot, Jordison was involved into several music projects including bands Scar the Martyr and Vimic before forming Sinsaenum in 2016. Sinsaenum recorded two studio albums so far, with their second one, Repulsion for Humanity, getting released in August and meeting with positive reviews from the critics.
