Foals released the first part of their two-piece project Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost back in March, and their fans have been highly-anticipating its follow-up ever since. Their prayers have finally been answered since the British band announced the release date of their next record.

Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2 will be released on October 18th, through Warner Bros. and Transgressive Records. The album cover was shot by National Geographic photographer Maggie Steber, and it shows a flower-filled graveyard.

Frontman Yannis Philippakis previously discussed their decision to record a double album with NME and said they went down this road because they weren’t able to convey their creative desire and ambition with a traditional 10-track record.

“What you end up having is a sacrifice to make this condensed statement. With this approach, we can finally convey the full artistic vision of the band with two statements that are vital and powerful and not in any way compromising,” said Philippakis.
