Imagine getting to hear Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre live on the same night, at the same show. While it may sound nothing more than every rap fan’s wet dream now, it turns out that this scenario was close to being a reality at one point.

50 Cent recently did an interview with Big Boy in which he discussed various topics including the final season of his TV show Power, his plans for the future and revealed some interesting bits from his past. One of those bits was that he, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre were supposed to do a huge joint tour several years ago.

According to 50, everyone was on board, but Eminem decided to turn down the opportunity, wanting to spend more time with his daughter Hailie.

“We could’ve gone on tour. Me, Em, [Dr. Dre], [Snoop Dogg],” 50 Cent told Big Boy while discussing his relationship with Eminem. “You do not believe how much money we would’ve made. And Em was like—there was so many dates at the time that we laid it out—that he was like, ‘I just don’t want to go on tour and come back and Hailie’s grown.'”

You can watch the entire interview below. You’ll find the part about the tour around 30 minutes mark.

Besides working on numerous projects and business ventures, 50 Cent is also preparing a new studio album titled Street King Immortal. The record, which will be his first since 2014’s Animal Ambition, has been in works several years now but the release date is yet to be revealed.
