Dwight Yoakam is heading to the Strip.

Rolling Stone reports that the musician is bringing his sound to Las Vegas this December. Yoakam will kick off his residency at the Wynn Las Vegas on December 4.

The brief residency that includes six performances in December and three more in March is titled An Evening With Dwight Yoakam and the Bakersfield Beat.

According to the outlet, the performances will highlight “the Bakersfield Sound, the raw mixture of twang and rock & roll that rivaled the smooth production style of the Nashville Sound in the 1960s.” Concertgoers will enjoy numbers from the Dust Bowl era, as well as the songs and artists who helped put Bakerfield on the map, including Merle Haggard and Buck Owens.

Tickets go on sale August 23.
