Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscars pre-party is one of the most popular star-studded events leading up to Academy Awards, and this year’s event will feature an amazing headliner. Fresh off her recent Grammy win, Dua Lipa agreed to help Elton John throw a party to remember.

In an official statement announcing her involvement, the “Don’t Start Now” singer said it’s a dream come true to share the stage with Elton John, especially since it’s for a good cause.

“It’s such an honor to be a part of one of the most iconic Oscar parties and I’m really proud to support the Elton John AIDS Foundation to help tackle the stigma that exists around HIV as we need to build a kinder and more accepting world together,” explained Lipa.

Elton John echoed her statement and promised his Oscar pre-party will feature many fabulous surprise names. The virtual pre-party will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris on April 25th, and Lipa is expected to give a “stripped back” performance during the event.

This announcement comes about a week after the “New Rules” singer won a Grammy for the best pop vocal album with Future Nostalgia. “Love Again” was recently released as the sixth single from this album, and Lipa is currently climbing the charts with the new version of “Levitating”, featuring DaBaby.
