The news about Drake releasing a new album isn’t shocking, since he confirmed that his fifth studio release is almost done during Majid Jordan’s Toronto show on April 5th.

“The reason I’m here tonight is because I’m back in the city finishing my album,” he said. “I’ve got a new single dropping tomorrow night too, just in case you got some free time.”

The single, titled “Nice for What,” was released on April 6th with accompanying music video that featured various celebrities including Rashida Jones and Tracee Ellis Ross.

“Nice For What” went straight to number one at Billboard Hot 100, dethroning his own “God’s Plan,” which made Drake the only artist in the chart’s history to have a new single replacing his old single at the top position.
