Rock in Rio never had any trouble attracting A-list performers to its stage, and the 2019 edition of this festival is no different. After a lot of speculation, it’s finally been confirmed that Drake will be one of the headliners entertaining the crowd in Brazil this fall.

A spokesperson for Rock in Rio broke the amazing news via Twitter and promised a remarkable and unforgettable experience in the City of Rock on the first night of this epic event.

“Drake’s appearance at Rock in Rio is bound to be a night to remember in Brazil, 2019. For the first time, Drake is set to close out the night on Rock in Rio’s World Stage, promising a once-in-a-lifetime set for those in the City Of Rock on September 27,” read the statement by the festival’s organizers.

Drake joins the likes of Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden, Pink, Muse and Imagine Dragons, who will also headline this legendary festival in Rio de Janeiro, between September 27 and October 6.
