Doja Cat has been teasing her upcoming fourth studio album for quite some time, and its release date is on the horizon. The Grammy-winning star finally unveiled the cover art of her new album Scarlet and confirmed it’s hitting the shelves in September.

Crafted by artist Dusty Ray, Doja Cat’s latest album cover is pretty minimalistic, and it simply shows a crimson spider on a white background. The hip-hop star confirmed her new album will be out on September 22, and she already gave us a taste of things to come with several songs.

“Attention” was released as the album’s first single, but its follow-up “Paint the Town Red” created much more buzz. It peaked at no. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart just this week, and made Spotify history as the first-ever solo female rap song to top the US Top 50 chart, according to Chart Data.

Doja Cat is gearing up to drop another single this week, titled “Demons”. She’ll celebrate the album’s release by embarking on The Scarlet Tour across North America this fall. The tour includes a total of 24 dates in the United States and Canada, and she’ll be supported by Ice Spice and Doechii on the road.
